影片讲述了In Italy, old, dirty, congested prisons full of violence and abuse are a dim and distant memory. Now prisoners serve their sentences in a state of deep sleep which renders them inoffensive and has drastically reduced reoffending rates. Hypersleep is an efficient, economically viable and reliable system. That is, until the day when David Damiani (Stefano Accorsi), a psychologist charged with monitoring prisoners’ mental states, finds himself faced with a prisoner about whom all information has been lost. It’s an unexpected event which triggers a chain of unforeseeable event, forcing David to face up to the ghosts of his very own past. 《超意识睡眠》这部剧的收视率还不错，但是口碑总体来说一般。网络褒贬不一，《超意识睡眠》在某瓣的评分还没开分，不过热评里面大部分几乎都是吐槽。小编自己也看了这部剧，斯特凡诺·阿科尔西,桑德拉·切卡莱利还是演的挺好的。
